What if the lioness were in the sea,

No longer a runner, would she be

Once carefree, now surrounded by treachery

Judged & mobbed, sharks circle with ill intent

Wanting the light heaven sent,

Elegant in her element

Volatility will not relent

Struggle & toil in the sea

Looking up to the sky,

Asking God, oh why, oh, why?

Listen, my dear, picture this

My gift to you, light, resilience, & perseverance

You’re a majestic beast,

You can conquer any feat!

Set your mind, and it will be found

You have abilities that abound!

Never let the circumstances tear you down!

     Find the shore, and you will run, f

Finding your spirit in the sun!
