The Rapscallion
The rapscallion danced in Lucifer's tree
A wily little booger was he
Tossing fireballs at fairies
Causing mischief and evil deeds
Feisty fairies beneath the tree
Gathered to chop his nefarious deeds
One shimmered in green
One hovered in blue
The brightest glowed in pink summery hues
Mocked and dared them, unafraid to die
He forgot they could fly
On delicate wings they danced about, fluttered by,
Causing ire in his eye
Poked him with sticks and smacked his snout
They twirled and whirled, flickering about
Loudly, he snorted, threw fireballs in retort
His ire was strong
They flew away high
Dodging his nefariousness in the sky
He took a step wrong, tumbled, and fell
Casting his evil deeds
Along with him, straight to hell
Relieved, no more evil toil
The fairies smiled and flew with joy
