Moon

Raven and crow shimmer, awash in moonlight glow

Luminous, ink dot eyes watching the horizon,

Its elliptical path grows

Gliding wings slice thick night air,

Governed by the moon's blank, feral stare

Feathered travelers repeat the feral guides’ journey

Squawking and cawing

Delightfully entertained, with no hurry

Daylight

Upon the dawn, weary avians croak and caw

Awaken, girl, come hear what we saw

It is time they sing, united, clamorous gawks and caws

Escort night to its sleepy peace

Bring on the light, illuminate creases in the sky

It is time to fulfill our wondrous cry

Bring forth vibrant colors and light to our eyes

Highlight the sky, and splash the clouds with your rays,

Daylight paints the heavens to start the day
