Lavender

Petulant child, or scared little girl,

You have no right to judge her

Whoever she be, mirrored little me,

Uncertain, unable to shine

Covered in dust and unholy grim

Shook off the reputement in given time

Got up, she did, she unhid

Love and light at her bid

Thought of happiness about,

Gratefulness in its sound

Dance on the wind, meet me there

As we sprinkle happiness everywhere

Shed your tears, it is ok,

Sprinkle them my dear,

Scatter the ick away

Showers bring on a new day

Let them heal, watch you glow

Tears are water welcomed,

Tomorrow’s gardens grow

Bathed in lavender sweetness

Essence of wonder and delight
